This course is designed for those working or volunteering in the childcare sector – from childminders to nursery and crèche workers. The training meets the national minimum standards for regulated childcare. Over 12 hours, candidates will receive a high level of training, to enable them to deal with first aid emergencies affecting babies and children.

This must be completed at least 48 hours before the second stage which is a 6 hour face to face practical element. Both elements must be completed to achieve the qualification and certificate. The date advertised is for the practical element so commencement of the theory will be before this date.
