Description
Employers have a local duty to provide a safe place to work, safe equipment and safe people. This requirement is contained in various pieces of safety legislation including the Health and Safety at Work Act.
To achieve these standards a suitable and sufficient risk assessment should be made. This programme has been developed for playgroups and nurseries to develop suitable skills and knowledge to assist delegates to carry out a general risk assessment as required by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
