Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations

Third party software and apps

Some online services we offer are built and maintained by third party suppliers on our behalf and may not conform to the same levels of accessibility as the rest of the website.

  • Dewis Cymru: This is national service that we use to record and advertise all our childcare providers. Their accessibility statement can be view on their website at https://www.dewis.wales/accessibility
  • Abavus (My council Services): We use the council’s corporate online forms software to produce our online forms. When designing the forms, we work hard to ensure they are easy to understand, complete, and submit and that the reading and navigation order are logical and intuitive.

We monitor the accessibility of these sites and report issues to our suppliers as they arise.

We require that any new third-party systems we commission for the website are Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 AA compliant.
