Introduction to the Road to Bilingualism Scheme

Are you looking to increase the use of Welsh Language within your Setting?  Would you like some support and guidance with the use of a step by step programme which encourages the use of Welsh Language in everyday life.

We have spaces available to recruit new settings on to the Road to Bilingualism.  If your setting would benefit from this support please keep a look out for the training that will offer further guidance on the scheme in addition to opportunity to sign up.

With the government’s target in mind, we can help reach one million Welsh speakers in Wales by 2050 that will ensure the Welsh language thrives for future generations.

Outcomes

Road to Bilingualism training will cover:

• The benefits of bilingualism and what that could look like for your setting.
• Introduction to The Road to Bilingual scheme of work and what will be expected of you as a setting.
• Case studies, success stories and sharing ideas.
• Introduction of some basic phrases that can be introduced immediately within your setting.

This course is delivered in the classroom face to face with a tutor.
