An interactive hour of training for movement and mindfulness based practises to support and nurture emotional resilience and self-regulation.
Natasha is a British Wheel of Yoga qualified Yoga teacher, with specialist training in Children’s Yoga and also Trauma Sensitive Yoga. Natasha has been teaching yoga for 20+ years and during that time run Children’s Yoga classes both privately and in school settings, as well as interactive workshops and training within the LEA, Flying Start and Wellbeing programmes within the NHS.
Natasha’s approach to teaching is informative and adaptive to the setting. She will simplify anatomy and physiology in child movement development to enable the audience to understand the importance of the wellbeing practices that they would then be sharing with the children.
Practises that are shared will be easy to repeat and integrate into day to day life and are accessible to all.
Most importantly all the sessions are playful, inclusive and empower the recipients to integrate these practices into daily life.
Within the session participants will gain an understanding of the importance of movement development of pre-schoolers and the key role it has on developing a strong foundation for optimum wellbeing.
Participants will take away suggestions and ideas for movement and mindfulness stories and games that participants can add to their skills in there settings.
Participants will also take some simple chair based stretches and self-care techniques, to support their own wellbeing.
