This professional learning session will support practitioners in developing effective approaches to early numeracy through authentic, first-hand learning experiences. Participants will explore how everyday interactions, play-based opportunities, and meaningful contexts can be used to embed and strengthen early numeracy skills across the learning environment.
The session will encourage practitioners to reflect on current planning approaches and consider how observation and responsive practice can support children’s numeracy development and progression. Participants will also gain practical ideas and strategies to enhance numeracy learning within their setting, helping to create engaging experiences that promote confidence, curiosity, and mathematical thinking in young learners.
