CIW and Setting Improvement Workshop

Description

This workshop supports early years childcare settings to understand Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) expectations and use self-evaluation to drive continuous improvement. Participants will explore inspection requirements, identify strengths and areas for development, and understand how to create practical action plans to enhance the quality of provision and outcomes for children.

Outcomes

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

1. Understand CIW expectations and how they apply to everyday practice.
2. Identify strengths and areas for improvement using effective self-evaluation.
3. Develop a simple action plan to support continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children.
