You are only eligible to attend this course if you work in one of the following Early Years Education Settings:
This training session focuses on creating rich, engaging experiences that support young children’s curiosity, creativity and holistic development. Drawing on early years practice, the session explores how meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities can be planned and sustained through a child-centred, play-based approach.
Participants will consider what makes an experience truly engaging, including the role of children’s interests, choice, and active involvement. The session will also explore how practitioners can plan provocations, develop an effective environment and respond in the moment to extend learning. Emphasis will be placed on ensuring experiences are inclusive, purposeful and aligned with the principles of the Curriculum for Non-maintained settings.
