You are only eligible to attend this course if you work in one of the following Early Years Education Settings:
This training session explores the vital role of enabling adults and well-planned environments in supporting young children’s learning and development. Rooted in child-centred practice, the session will consider how practitioners can create thoughtful, responsive environments that inspire curiosity, independence and sustained engagement.
Participants will examine what it means to be an ‘enabling adult’, including the importance of sensitive interactions, effective questioning, and responsive support. The session will also explore how the organisation of space, resources and routines can promote high-quality play and learning experiences. Links will be made to early years practice in Wales, supporting practitioners to reflect on how their provision aligns with current guidance and supports all learners to thrive.
