Childcare payment schedule and Individual Child Placement (ICP) form deadline dates

If you are providing Flying Start Childcare, Assisted Places, Supported Places, or Additional Support for children accessing an Early Years funded childcare place (e.g., Flying Start or Early Years Education) payments are made directly into your bank no later than the 1st day of the month for childcare provided in the previous month.

Funding cannot start until we have approved the ICP and confirmed the funding Start Date, End Date and Funded Hours. Both you and the parent will receive an email to confirm this. A parent can access the childcare whilst they are waiting for their application and/or ICP to be processed but this will be at their own cost. Early Years childcare payments are not backdated.

The table below shows the payment schedule for the next 12 months and the deadline for submitting a new Individual Child Placement Form (ICP) to meet the next payment date. It is important that once you have agreed to provide a placement, you submit an ICP immediately to avoid any delay in receiving your payment.

Please submit any new ICPs for the following term before the end of the current term to allow the Early Years Hub team time to prepare your register.
